What is a VandalCard?
The VandalCard is your official University of Idaho ID card. It is issued to students, staff, faculty, and affiliated persons and is used for on campus door access, dining plans, and admittance to athletic events. New Students and Staff should select I need my first VandalCard. after clicking the Request A VandalCard link above.

Replace a lost or damaged VandalCard?
Click on the button bellow to request a replacement card if you have lot or damaged your current card. Please note that there may be a $25 replacement fee.

VandalCard Photo Guidelines
Do
- Have a flat, light-colored background
- Be looking at camera
- Face must be evenly lit
- Must be recent
- File must be JPG format
Don't
- Sunglasses, hats or non-religious head wear
- Side-angle shots
- Hand gestures
- Obscure your face
- Edit photo with AI or other photo editing tools
TIP: If you are having trouble identifying what is appropriate for a VandalCard photo, use US passport or Driver's License photos as a reference!
