Installing the Cables:
If the cables you are using are not the same colors as shown here, don't worry! The color of the cable doesn't matter. It just matters that the cable goes into the correct ports, on the phone and on the wallplate.
- First, plug one end of your cable into the Ethernet IN port (#1 in the diagram). This connects the phone to the network. Plug the other end of that cable into a free port on the wallplate.
- Second, plug one end of your cable into the Ethernet OUT port (#2 in the diagram). This connects your computer to the Internet. Plug the other end into your computer.
- The phone will take a few seconds to boot up. The phone has to be registered in our system before it can be used. This will be done automatically. However, you won't be able to make calls for about 10-15 minutes.
- The phone is ready when your phone number and name are displayed on the screen.
