What is Qualtrics?

Overview

Qualtrics is an online data collection tool licensed by the university for use in academic-related research and administrative projects. Qualtrics allows users to create and administer surveys and web forms, and provides quantitative statistical analysis on the collected data.

Obtaining Access

To activate your Qualtrics account:

  1. Go to https://surveys.uidaho.edu/.
  2. Log in using your NetID username and Password.
  3. Click “No, I do not have a preexisting account here”
  4. Click "Sign In" 
  5. Accept the Terms of Service by clicking “I accept.”

Using Qualtrics

Qualtrics can be found at http://surveys.uidaho.edu/. Log in with your NetID username and password to begin creating surveys and web forms.

If it is your first time logging in, we recommend the “Learn Qualtrics in 5 Steps” program. This program can teach you the basics of Qualtrics in just under three hours.
