These are the options available to create a new password or reset a forgotten password. This page is linked from "Can't access your account?" on the SSO sign-in page.

If you are a new student, and need to create a new password for your account, please follow the instructions at VandalSetup: https://vandalsetup.uidaho.edu/
If you have already created a password, there are two options for resetting a forgotten password.
Employees must reset a forgotten password on the help.uidaho.edu account management site.
All alumni and retirees must reset a forgotten password using Microsoft Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR).
