Installing Applications on Mac Computers via Self Service

Installing Applications on Mac Computers

Mac computers that are managed by OIT use a product called JAMF for updates and software installations.   OIT-Managed systems will have a Gold "I" in the Application folder or on the dock called University of Idaho Self Service.  If you don't have the Self Service application installed, you will need OIT assistance for application installations. Please submit a request to have the needed software and Self Service installed.

Once that app is launched, you can install applications that are offered and managed by OIT.
