How to request third party Email bypass spam filtering?

Overview

External organizations occasionally need to send bulk email to the U of I community. OIT can review, and possibly safelist, an organization to improve delivery and decrease the chance of messages being categorized as spam.

 

Request Safelist

To request safelist exclusion, contact your local support team or submit a ticket at support@uidaho.edu. Please provide the following information with your request:

  • Vendor name
  • Vendor contact information
  • Purpose/use of email messages
  • Email address mail will be sent from (if known)

Applications that have not gone through IT governance or do not exist in the Application Portfolio may be ineligible for safelisting.
