Overview
External organizations occasionally need to send bulk email to the U of I community. OIT can review, and possibly safelist, an organization to improve delivery and decrease the chance of messages being categorized as spam.
Request Safelist
To request safelist exclusion, please submit a ticket to OIT. Please provide the following information with your request:
- Vendor name
- Vendor contact information
- Purpose/use of email messages
- Email address mail will be sent from (if known)
Applications that have not gone through IT governance or do not exist in the Application Portfolio may be ineligible for safelisting.
