Submit a Technology Idea or Request

Use this form to share a technology idea or need with the Office of Information Technology.

An IDEA can be:

  • A new Innovation

  • A project Discovery

  • A product or service Enhancement

  • Something Actionable that supports university goals

Examples include:

  • Proposing a new project

  • Requesting application development

  • Suggesting improvements to existing applications or services

  • Purchase of new software.  

  • A new integration for Canvas

What Happens Next?

Once you submit your idea, it will be reviewed by the appropriate IT Governance Advisory Board. This group evaluates and prioritizes technology initiatives across the university.  If your request is for the purchase of software for use against low-risk data, requiring no support from OIT, and meeting other criteria for purchase, it may be approved automatically.
