How to connect Roku Smart TV to AirVandalGuest?

Connecting a Roku Smart TV to AirVandalGuest:

 

  1. Find your MAC Address
    1. On your home screen, select “Settings”
    2.  Settings should be the last option in the main menu list.
    3. Select “About”

About should be the first setting in its list.

  1. It should look something like this:

  1. Go to https://help.uidaho.edu
    1. Sign in using the first part of your Vandal Email, also known as your NetID

  1. Using the menu on the left, scroll down to “Wireless Registration” 
  2. Fill out the form using the MAC Address from Step 1

  1. Wait about 10 minutes 
    1. It takes some time for the system to confirm your information and add it to the network’s device-list 
  1. Connect your TV to “AirVandalGuest” 
    1. Press the back button on your remote

  1. Go to “Network” 
  2. Go to “Set up connection” and select “Wireless” 
  3. In the list, select “AirVandalGuest” 
    1. Your TV will not be able to connect to “AirVandalHome” 
  4. The password is “GoVandals!”, without the quotes
