How to connect LG Smart TV to AirVandalGuest?

Connecting LG Smart TV to AirVandalGuest 

  

  1. Find the MAC Address for your device 

    1. Press the ‘gear” button on your controller 

    2. Go to General, this should pop up “TV Information” 

    3. Scroll until you see “MAC Address (Wireless)” 

    4. Your MAC address will look something like this:

  2. Go to https://help.uidaho.edu/ 

    1. Sign in using the first part of your Vandal Email, also known as your NetID

    1. Using the menu on the left, scroll down to “Wireless Registration” 

    2. Fill out the form using the MAC Address from Step 1

    1. Wait about 10 minutes 

      1. It takes some time for the system to confirm your information and add it to the network’s device-list 

  3. Connect your TV to “AirVandalGuest” 

    1. Press the “gear’ icon on your remote 

    2. Go to “Network” 

    3. Go to “Wi-Fi Connection” 

    4. In the list, select “AirVandalGuest” 

      1. Your TV will not be able to connect to “AirVandalHome” 

    5. The password is “GoVandals!”, without the quotes
