Adobe Software Installation Procedure (Named Licenses)

Installation instructions for named Adobe software purchased by University of Idaho OIT.

  • These instructions only pertain to University Staff and Faculty.

1. After an Adobe license is assigned to you an email addressed from Adobe will arrive in your inbox.  On the email you can click "Get Started" to be directed to the Adobe portal.  If you are unable to find the email you can go directly to the Adobe portal and click "Log In" in the upper right-hand corner of the site. 


2. Sign in using your full University of Idaho email address then click on continue.


3. Select "Personal" on this screen.. And then select the University of Idaho profile.



4. If you have setup an Adobe password previously, you can enter it here. Otherwise click on "Reset your password" and follow the directions to create the new password.  Named-user licenses do not have SSO.


5. Once you have successfully logged in, you will be presented with a listing of all the software licensed to you.  Select the software you need to download it to your computer.  



If your password is not accepted, click the "Reset password" link.

Change your password.
