Tamper Protection
Sophos Central tamper protection prevents unauthorized users and malware from changing, uninstalling, or otherwise modifying the state of Sophos client.
What changes require a tamper protection password?
Any changes made in the "Settings" tab will require a Sophos tamper protection password. Additionally, you will need a tamper protection password to uninstall the Sophos agent from the machine. This should typically be done by a TSP or Local Support person troubleshooting an issue with you.
Request Process
Contact your TSP for assistance with Sophos and getting a tamper protection password if necessary.
