This message is displayed to enroll with Microsoft's Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) or Entra Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Once enrolled, you will be able to reset your password from the sign-in page by selecting "Can't access your account?" or "Forgot your password". The enrollment process will require you to enroll a mobile app, phone number or email address.
This is the initial setup screen. The default screen displays the Microsoft Authenticator app, this can be changed to another app using the link "I want to set up a different authenticator app". The Microsoft Authenticator app is recommended.
Note: You must setup at least two authentication methods.

Once you have setup all authentication methods click on "Done" to continue sign-in.
Note: If you select the option to verify your email address, you will receive an email message from Microsoft with an email verification code:

If you are unable to install Microsoft Authenticator, or a similar Authenticator App, it is possible to enroll with just a phone number along with an external email address. Here are the example steps. Using the Microsoft Authenticator app is highly recommended.
Initial "More information required" dialog.
Select "I want to set up a different method".
Select "Phone" and click on "Confirm" to continue.
Enter your phone number and select "Receive a code" for an SMS Text, or "Call me" for a voice call. This example uses a text code.
Enter the six digit code received and click on "Next" to verify.
Your phone will be shown as verified. Click on "Next" to continue.
For the second authentication method option, click on "I want to set up a different method" again.
Select the "Email" option and click on "Confirm".
Enter an external email address and select "Next".
Enter the six digit code from the external email account and select "Next".
A success dialog will be displayed. Click Done to continue.
