Connect Outlook to ClickUp

Connecting your Outlook calendar to ClickUp allows for two-way synchronization, enabling you to view and manage tasks and events in both platforms. You can set this up directly within ClickUp by navigating to the ClickUp App Center and choosing the Outlook Calendar integration to connect your account and select specific calendars. 

Steps to Connect Outlook Calendar to ClickUp

  1. In your ClickUp workspace, click on the More waffle and select the Apps icon.      
  2. Locate the Outlook Calendar application using the Search bar in the upper right corner.
  3. In the window that opens, in the box that says "Create a personal connection" and click on the Connect buttonon a Windows computer.  If you're using a Mac, you'll click on "Configure".
  4. Log in to your Microsoft account using your U of I login and passsword.  You may need to grant ClickUp necessary permissions for reading/writing calendar events.  Then click Done.

  • Two-Way Sync: Updates made in Outlook or ClickUp will reflect in both applications.
  • Manage Events: You can create, edit, or join Outlook Calendar events directly from ClickUp, including from the AI Command Bar.
  • Task Management: View ClickUp tasks with due dates directly within your Outlook calendar, helping with time-blocking. 

Connecting Outlook Email

Connecting Outlook email to your ClickUp account can allow you to send and receive emails directly from tasks.  Due to security concerns, we are not enabling this at this time.
