Overview
This article provides an overview of the Bose S1 Pro+ PA speaker and its integration with Shure SM58S microphones using Bose wireless transmitters. It covers:

The Bose S1 Pro+ features a built-in battery for portable use and charges the Bose Wireless Transmitters when inserted into the speaker’s storage slots.
Initial Setup
- Unpack and Connect Power
- Plug the power cable into the speaker and then into a wall outlet.
- Install Transmitters
- Remove the transmitter storage slot covers.
- Insert the Bose transmitters into the storage slots.
- Power On and Configure
- Press the Power button to turn on the speaker.
- Use the knob/button to configure:
- Press and hold for 3 seconds.
- Highlight ToneMatch.
- Press the button and select Microphone.
- Pair Transmitters
- Transmitters will automatically pair with the corresponding input channel.
- Attach to Microphones
- Remove the transmitter from the slot.
- Connect it to the bottom of the Shure SM58S microphone until it clicks.
- Power on the transmitter and unmute it.

Operation
Once setup is complete:
- Power on the Bose S1 Pro+ speaker.
- Remove the transmitter from the speaker and attach it to the microphone.
- Press the transmitter’s power button. A white LED should illuminate.
- Speak into the microphone and verify the green signal light on the speaker is active.
- Adjust volume using the input knob.

Troubleshooting
No Sound
- Check Transmitter Power
- Ensure the transmitter is powered on.
- White LED = power on
- Blue LED (solid) = unmuted
- Blue LED (blinking) = muted
- Verify ToneMatch Setting
- Press and hold the knob/button for 3 seconds.
- Highlight ToneMatch.
- Press the button and select Microphone.
- Check Volume
- Rotate the input knob to display volume level.
- Check Mute Status
- Solid blue LED = unmuted
- Blinking blue LED = muted
- Press MUTE button to unmute.
- Check Signal
- Speak into the microphone.
- Confirm the green signal light on the speaker is active.
