The Benefits & Elections card allows University of Idaho employees to review and manage their benefits, as well as configure options for compensation and pay distribution. This card links directly to secure portals for personal benefits and payroll election management.

My Benefits
- Clicking this link takes you to the University of Idaho My Benefits Portal (managed by TELUS Health): universityofidahobenefits.com
- Log in with your User ID and Password to:
- View and update your medical, dental, and vision coverage
- Review life and disability insurance
- Manage retirement contributions
- Access wellness programs and other benefit resources
- If you need help, contact the Benefits Center at 1-800-646-6174, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (PT)
Comp Time Elections
- Choose how to receive compensation for overtime:
- Comp time (paid time off)
- Overtime pay
- May be subject to eligibility based on position classification.
Spread Pay Elections
- Opt to receive your annual salary in equal payments across 12 months.
- Especially helpful for academic employees who only work part of the year but want consistent monthly income.
Additional Information
- The My Benefits portal is separate from VandalWeb but linked for single access.
- Changes to benefit elections may only be made:
- During the open enrollment period
- After a qualifying life event (e.g., marriage, birth, job change)
- For payroll preferences (comp time or spread pay), log in during designated HR windows or contact payroll services.
