To use the YubiKey provided by OIT, ensure you have an available USB-C port or a USB-C-to-USB adapter.
Insert Your Security Key
After entering your email address and password, you will see a prompt:
“Insert your security key into the USB port.”
If you haven’t already, insert the security key into an available USB port on your device.
Enter PIN (if applicable)
If you have set a PIN for your security key, you may be prompted to enter it at this stage. If not, skip this step.
Authenticate Using Your Security Key
When prompted to
“Touch your security key,”
you will see a green flashing “y” light on the key. Lightly touch the flashing surface to proceed.
Verify Your Device
Next, you will see the prompt:
“Is this your device?”
After selecting the appropriate option, you should gain access to your account.
