UI Housing is aware of WiFi coverage issues on the 2nd floor of South Hill apartments. Unfortunately, as a result of long-term administrative budgeting, there is no allocation for any improvements to this connectivity concern.
If you are experiencing weak coverage on the 2nd floor, we appreciate your understanding. Please direct any concerns or feedback about 2nd floor WiFi coverage to the University of Idaho Housing & Residence Life department because there is nothing OIT can do to improve it without additional funds to upgrade equipment.
If you are experiencing weak coverage on the first floor, open a ticket with the OIT Network team and we will assist with investigating and work on resolving the issue.
