Overview
Nessus Agent may appear in your list of installed software. Nessus Agent detects vulnerable software, misconfigured settings, and other security issues on your device so they can be remediated before malware or a malicious actor exploits them. All machines used to access High Risk data under APM 30.11 should have this software installed.
Nesus Agent scans your machine periodically. Scans run in the background with no noticeable interruptions or visible notifications. The Information Security Office or your local support team will reach out to notify you of any issues needing attention and can help with remediation.
