Overview
This document describes a common issue when attempting to sign-in to University of Idaho services using only a username.
Sign-in is Blocked & Incorrect Password Errors
When authenticating to University of Idaho resources you are required to enter your full email address when prompted. If you attempt to sign-in using your short username you may see one of these error messages:
- You've tried to sign in too many times with an incorrect account or password.
- Sign-in is blocked. You've tried to sign in too many times with an incorrect account or password.

Resolution
To gain access to your account again, simply follow these two steps:
- Close and then re-open your web browser and go back through the sign-in process.
- When prompted, enter your full email address instead of just your username.
