Why am I getting sign-in errors with Cloud Authentication?

Sign-in is Blocked & Incorrect Password Errors:

When authenticating to University of Idaho resources you are required to enter your full email address when prompted. If you attempt to sign-in using your short username you may see one of these error messages:

  • You've tried to sign in too many times with an incorrect account or password.
  • Sign-in is blocked. You've tried to sign in too many times with an incorrect account or password.

Resolution:

To gain access to your account again, simply follow these two steps:

  1. Close and then re-open your web browser and go back through the sign-in process.
  2. When prompted, enter your full email address instead of just your username.
