To save Banner data output files from Banner 9 Admin Page GJIREVO
Note: It is important to save Banner data files to OneDrive or to another appropriate network drive, which keeps the data secure and backed up.
Option 1: Save the file to a folder you specify
- In GUAUPRF, enter WEBUTIL (in all caps) in the second User Value on the second tab and click “Save”.
- Go to General User Preferences Maintenance GUAUPRF and go to the second tab: Directory Options.
- Enter WEBUTIL in the second “User Value” field.
- Click “Save” at the bottom right.
- Set your preferred folder to save files to, using your browser settings. This setting depends on your browser. See examples on page https://support.uidaho.edu/TDClient/KB/ArticleDet?ID=1114. If you don’t set a preferred folder, the file will save in the browser’s default save location.
- In GJIREVO, select the Process you want to save, click OK and it will show the Saved Output Review. Then select “Tools - Show Document (Save and Print File)” to save the file to the folder specified in step 2.
Option 2: Display the file in a browser window
- In GUAUPRF, enter FILE (in all caps) in the second User Value on the second tab and click “Save”.
- Go to General User Preferences Maintenance GUAUPRF and go to the second tab: Directory Options.
- Enter FILE in the second “User Value” field.
- Click “Save” at the bottom right.
- In GJIREVO, select the Process you want to save, click OK and it will show the Saved Output Review. Then select “Tools - Show Document (Save and Print File)”. A confirmation pop-up will appear, and if you click Yes, the file will display in a new browser window. Your browser needs pop-ups enabled for this option.
