Overview
The Assistive Technology Lab, provided by the Center for Disability Access and Resources (CDAR), offers accessible computing resources and software for students with disabilities. The lab is located on the 4th floor of the University of Idaho Library, Room 418.

Technical Support
For any issues with lab equipment, report to CDAR for repair or replacement. Equipment must be used appropriately; damage due to misuse may result in repair charges.
Apply for accommodations: Students begin by submitting documentation and meeting with a CDAR professional each semester to establish approved accommodations
CDAR Access Portal: Manage accommodations, renew requests, schedule accommodated exams, access alternative text, notetaking support, and more
Instructor Portal: Faculty can view accommodations, set up proctoring via the Alternative Testing Agreement (ATA), upload exams, and access tools for notetaking, deaf/HOH assistance, alt-format text, and syllabus statements
Guidance & FERPA: Portal includes a FERPA reminder and resources for implementing accommodations in line with legal requirements
