The Vandal Laptop Checkout Program allows students to request, use, and return laptops for class assignments, long-term projects, finals, and semester success.

Where do I request a laptop?

The request form must be completely filled out at the Dean of Students main website. This form is then processed through the University and sent to the Student Technology Center (STC) for processing.

How is student eligibility determined?

We identify the following criteria:

1) The student has not returned any previously damaged equipment/hasn't returned late equipment

2) The student has not exceeded the max (2) semester window to check out laptops

3) Any applicable Dean of Students requirements

4) Various additional requirements as determined by the Dean of Students and the Student Technology Center

Where can I go to pick up my laptop once my request has been processed?

The Student Technology Center in the Teaching Learning Center, Room 128 is where all student-issued rental laptops will be available to pick up and return.

How long can I check out a laptop for?

Laptops checked out through this program are loaned for a semester at a time, with a 2 semester maximum allowed per student. Laptop loans may not be extended to the following semester in order to fulfill this maximum, as each semester needs a separate application through the Dean of Students. Applications are reviewed and confirmed upon eligibility on a first come, first served basis.
