How to share an Outlook calendar event as an iCalendar (.ics) file?

Overview

This is a guide how to send a calendar event as an iCalendar (.ics) file.

1. After creating an event, select the event and press the Drop-down arrow next to Forward

On the calendar page, select the event then select the dorp down arrow next to the "forward" button

2. Click Forward as iCalendar

A drop down menu will appear, select "Forward as iCalendar"

3. An email draft will pop-up with the iCalendar file attached ready to be edited and sent.

An email draft will appear with the Calendar draft appeared ready for edits and to be sent.
