Overview
Share mapping to drive letters for University of Idaho users is handled by the group policy "ITS-Users-DriveMaps". Each of these mappings is targeted to the groups that have access to the shares, using Item Level Targeting. Group policy drive mapping only targets "Microsoft Entra hybrid joined" workstations.
Note: the special U: drive mapping is automatically handled in Windows for users that have the HomeDirectory attribute set, which is not common.
