Record Video in ZOOM
First, ensure that you have recorded your session in Zoom (see ZOOM help on recording).
- Click More at the bottom of Zoom
- Click Record
- Select the Cloud or Computer recording destination
- Proceed with your meeting

Option 1) Share Video link in CANVAS
ATTENTION: This option requires the user to have standard UIdaho authentication access (i.e., a VANDAL email account). Many Keep Learning students don't have this access. Use Option 2 instead.
-
You will receive a "Shareable" link via email after the meeting. You can also find the link here: https://uidaho.zoom.us/recording/
-
Copy the Share Link
-
Go to your CANVAS course, and edit the page were you need to add the Zoom recording, or add the link as a module item in your CANVAS course.
Option 2) Upload Video into CANVAS
It's possible to simply add a link to your ZOOM recording in your CANVAS course, however, if you're using the UIDAHO instance of Zoom it may require UIdaho authentication to view the recording. In the case of some Keep Learning courses, the students may not have this type of access. Below is the process for downloading the video, then uploading to Panopto inside your Keep Learning course.
- ZOOM will email you a shareable ZOOM recording link when the recording is ready. You can also find the link here: https://uidaho.zoom.us/recording/
- Click the ZOOM Share link in the email to open the video

- Click the Download (3 files) link in the upper right corner
- It allows you to download three file types:
- VTT = chat transcript
- M4A = audio recording
- MP4 = video recording <<< Click MP4 to download the video
