NOTE: The Konica's copying capabilities have been disabled for student and faculty use, you may only print to this machine.
Sending Your Document to Print
- Sending your documents to print is the same process as any other printer using PaperCut on campus
- Access your student account on any of the lab computers in the UI Library
- Send your document to be "printed" to UofI-MobilePrint-print02
Printing Your Document
1. Printing on the Konica is slightly different from other printers on campus, as the functionality is holistically integrated into the touch screen display.
2. On the touchscreen, the Konica has access to PaperCut's Mobility function, so begin by typing in your V-number (excluding the V).

2. From here, scroll to the right twice until you see the icon APP, then select RELEASE, it should take you to this job log page. If you are taken to a different page, please see the below troubleshooting section.

3. Tap your document you wish to print and then highlight the applicable print type.
- The Konica will default to color when available, to avoid being charged more if Black and White is the desired option, click the box Print in grayscale.
Troubleshooting
- If you attempt to login without anything actively in your print queue, it will default to the printers main menu as seen below. Return to PaperCut by pressing the logout button that is circled in the picture.

- If you cannot get the touch screen system to work, there are 2 forms of backup.
FAQ
Will other forms of ID work for the type field?
- Only V-numbers excluding the V work with the sign in option.
Does the Konica print both black/white and color?
- Yes, if you submit a colored page to the queue, the Konica will default to color but you may select the grayscale option to be charged less if color is not of importance to your print job.
How long will jobs stay in the PaperCut cue?
- Documents will remain in the PaperCut queue for 8 hours before the system clears it. After that, you will need to send the document again back to the MobilePrint queue.
Do I need to sign out?
- The Konica will time out your instance and sign out your account after 30-60 seconds on inactivity, but signing out as soon as you finish printing prevents the possibility of an account compromise.
If further assistance is needed, do not hesitate to ask for help from the Student Technology Center Representative located on the first floor of the library, or the Student Technology Center itself.
