The ITS PPMO has an avenue to assist with managing projects and provide understanding of the ITS portfolio processes. The PPMO will help with project management questions and concerns and provides the following services for technical implementations or other large ITS initiatives:
- Managing projects (as staff is available)
- Identifying and assist with managing critical success factors, issues and risks
- Providing consultation on project management standards throughout the project lifecycle
- Assisting in developing Charters, project plans and troubleshooting existing plans
- Supporting users with project management tools and templates
- Performing regular project reviews, including project plans
- Providing standards and templates for project success
No fee is associated with this service and it is available to faculty, staff and departments at the University of Idaho.
Access to Project Management Tools
For University departments or units that need a project management tool, this form can be used to request access to the "Projects/Workspaces" module within the UI Work Management System (aka "TeamDynamix"). Among other things, the module allows for project planning, task and responsibility assignment, risk and issues tracking, and status reporting across multiple projects.
