Functionality Has Been Restored
Please review the documentation below before making changes. There have been some updates, and there are a few important notes to be aware of.
The self-service directory update tool is back online. You can access it here: Campus Directory Management Form
Getting Started
When you open the form, use the department dropdown at the top to select the department you want to manage. You will only see departments you have access to.
Edit Department Header
This section controls your department's contact information in the directory: title, phone number, email, and web page. Optional Line 1, Optional Line 2, and Optional Line 3 do not appear in the directory and will be removed in a future update.
Current UI Official Department Records
This is the list of people officially associated with your department. Use the Included? checkbox to control whether someone appears in the directory. Checked means they show up, unchecked means they don't. Click Save when you're done.
Note: This query can be slow to load. If the list doesn't appear right away, click Refresh.
Current UI Manual Department Records
This section lists current University of Idaho employees who have been manually added to your department's directory listing. These are people with a valid Vandal ID.
To remove someone: Click on their record, click Delete Selected, then click Save.
To add someone: Click Add Manual UI Record, enter their V Number and optionally a custom title, then click Add Record. Leave the title blank to use their default Banner title.
Note: This section can also be slow to load. You may need to click Refresh.
Current Placeholder Department Records
Important: The ability to remove records from this section has not yet been restored. Be careful when adding people here, as you won't be able to remove them until that feature is back.
This section is for adding people who are not University of Idaho employees, or for indicating that a position exists but no one currently fills it. Click Add non-UI Record for instructions and to add a record.
