The Account Management card gives students, faculty, and staff direct access to the University of Idaho’s identity and access portal, where they can manage login credentials, security settings, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).

Features / Actions

  • Click “Open Account Management” to launch the portal: help.uidaho.edu
  • Sign in with your NetID, email, or Vandal ID number to:
    • Change your password
    • Update security questions
    • Manage Duo multi-factor authentication (MFA)
    • Activate your account (for new users)

What You’ll See After Clicking

  • A login page with:
    • Standard sign-in form (username + password)
    • Single Sign-On (SSO) button
  • Helpful links on the page include:
    • Reset password (if security profile is set up)
    • New student setup at vandalsetup.uidaho.edu
    • UI account usage overview
    • Support contact for further assistance (208-885-HELP)

Additional Information

  • You must have already set up a security profile in order to reset your password independently.
  • If you're a new student, you'll be directed to activate your account before accessing university systems.
  • Use the portal to check your MFA settings and make updates to your Duo devices or methods.
  • If locked out or facing issues, call the IT Help Desk or visit support.uidaho.edu for guided support.
