  • Use the “What-If” tool to see how changes in major or concentration could affect your progress.
• Change My Major
  • Submit a formal request to change your major.
  •  Before submitting, students are strongly encouraged to:
  • Consult with their academic advisor.
  • Use the “What-If” scenario in Degree Audit to preview impacts.
  • Understand how a change might affect financial aid, athletic eligibility, or visa status.
• Special Considerations:
  • Veteran students: Contact veterans@uidaho.edu
  • Student-athletes: Contact dhippe@uidaho.edu
  • International students: Contact ipo@uidaho.edu
  • Financial aid recipients: Contact finaid@uidaho.edu
• Note: You may not be able to change your major online. Some changes require contacting your college office directly. New students should consult the Admissions Office.

• Format View: Switch between "Student View" or "Advisor View" to customize your display.
• Catalog Year: Your degree requirements follow the catalog in effect at the time of your matriculation.
• Major Concentration: Changes may require approval based on department policies.
• Degree Level: Ensure you’re meeting graduate or undergraduate requirements specific to your program.
