To download Minecraft:
https://education.minecraft.net/en-us
- Step 2: Click "Download" on the top left-hand side of the page
- Step 3: Click "Download now" in the middle of the page
- Step 4: After the download is complete, you will see a popup that says "Welcome to the Minecraft: Education Edition Setup Edition Wizard", then follow the prompts
- Step 5: Once you get to the install page, after clicking agree there will be a seperate pop up that will ask for permission to make changes to your device; you can select agree.
- Step 6: After the install is complete, click "Finish" to exit the setup wizard
- Step 7: Enjoy playing!
For Teachers who want to create a Minecraft Education account:
https://education.minecraft.net/en-us
- Step 2: At the top left hand side of the page, click "sign in"
- Step 3: Select "Sign-in options" below the sign in box
- Step 4: Select "Sign in to an organization"
- Step 5: Type in "uidaho.edu" below "Find your organization" and click "Next"
- Step 6: You should see the University of Idaho sign in page, use your school credentials to log in
- Step 7: Complete your profile
- Step 8: Explore your classroom! In order to download Minecraft, follow the steps above.
