Overview
Duo is capable of texting passcodes to your mobile phone number, if you already have one enrolled for your account. Each passcode can be used once and will expire two minutes after delivery.
Important! Duo Mobile is the recommended authentication method. SMS enrollment is no longer available by default. Contact the STC or your TSP if you do not have a capable phone.
Obtaining Passcodes
When presented with the Duo prompt, click "Other options".
Select "Send text message passcode".
Enter the passcode and select "Verify".
Passcodes expire shortly after delivery.
Duo no longer sends 8 non-expiring passcodes. If you need other options, please obtain a Yubikey.
