How do I connect to Wifi on MacOS?

Overview:

This tutorial will assist you in connecting your machine or device to our wireless network; AirVandalGold. These tutorials are designed for Macbook air or Macbook pro (running OSX version 10.7 (Lion) or later).

Connecting to WiFi on MacOS:

Step 1: Select a network

Click on the AirPort icon in the top right-hand side of the screen and click on the AirVandalGold network.

Click on the AirVandalGold network.
Select AirVandalGold

 

Step 2: Authenticate using NetID

You will be prompted to enter your NetID username and password. Enter these now and you will be connected to AirVandalGold.

Your machine will be registered behind the scenes. You will be prompted to accept a security certificate. Accept it and enter your computer’s log on password when prompted to add the certificate to your system.

You are now connected to AirVandalGold and will have full access to the internet.
