IT Support for Special Events

Groups that require out-of-the-ordinary or extra IT support/equipment for a University-sponsored event (e.g. – temporary network switches or other loaned devices such as laptops, VandalCard readers, printers, etc.) need to:

  1. Submit their requests through support.uidaho.edu using the Event Support Request.
  2. At least 3 working days in advance of the event start (2+ weeks advance notice is preferred).
  3. Include the location and time of event, and a description of what IT support/equipment is needed.

Please NOTE: requests received with less advance notice may not be fulfilled for an event depending on complexity and resource availability.
