Students, staff and faculty can easily connect their Mac OSx laptops to the University of Idaho’s wireless network, AirVandalGold. The following tutorial will assist you in registering your machine and connecting it to AirVandal Gold. You can find other helpful and easy-to-follow tutorials on our tutorial page.
1. Click on the AirPort icon in the top right-hand side of the screen and click on the AirVandalGold network.
2. You will be prompted to enter your NetID username and password. Enter these now and you will be connected to AirVandalGold.

3. Your machine will be registered behind the scenes. You will be prompted to accept a security certificate. Accept it and enter your computer’s log on password when prompted to add the certificate to your system.
4. You are now connected to AirVandalGold and will have full access to the internet.
