Novell Directory services are now being replaced by Microsoft
Active Directory. To learn more about this change, please
visit the Novell Replacement Project
portion of our site. This move to Active Directory will no
longer require the use of the Novell Client. To manually uninstall
Novell, please follow the directions outlined below.
- Close all open programs. Go to the
Start menu, then
Control Panel.

- In Classic View,
double click Add or Remove Programs. To switch from Category View to Classic View,
select Classic View from the left-hand Control Panel
sidebar.

- Then, select Novell from
the populated program list. Once
highlighted, click the Change/Remove
button.

- You will then be prompted to confirm that
you do want to remove the program. Select Yes, and then when asked to
reboot, select Yes.
- Also, verify that the following programs have been removed
with the uninstall of Novell: NICI (Shared) U.S./World Wide, NMAS Challenge Response Method, and NMAS Client.
If they were not removed with the uninstall of
Novell, follow the directions above to remove
these programs as well.
