| Did you know
the University of Idaho network is "scanned" approximately
450,000 times a day by computer systems outside the university
network? This averages to about 50-60 scans on EVERY computer on
the network EVERY day. Have you ever wondered what steps you can
take to make your computer more secure? November 30th is
Computer Security Awareness Day and the University is
planning a number of activities towards educating all "Netizens"
on the impacts of computer security in the world today.
CSAD 2005 was a success! The
sessions were well attended by students, faculty and staff.
Representatives from LCSC and WSU also attended.
Here are a few photos of the event.
