  Mac is Not Connecting to Wireless After Password Change    

The following instructions are for Macintosh OSX 10.4-10.5 users who can not connect to AirVandalGold wireless network after a password change.

1. You will need to click your wireless icon and select the 'Open Network Preferences' link.

2. The 'Network' window will pop up and you will need to have your AirPort selected to the left. This will bring up your AirPort preferences. Select the 'Advanced' button in the lower right corner of the window.

3. The next widow will display the ability to select several tabs. You will need to select the '802.1X tab', this will bring up a User Profiles window. Select the small triangle to drop down all of your user profiles. You should see a 'WPA: AirVandalGold' profile you will need to click on this. The profile information will fill the blank fields for the profile. In the 'Password' field delete any password that is in the field and enter your NEW University password (this is the password you use for Blackboard/kiosks/lab computers).

4. Select the OK button and then the Apply button in the next screen to save your changes. You should now be able to use the AirVandalGold wireless network.
