Please read the instructions carefully. There are two
separate ways of setting up wireless for
AirVandalGold.
Previously Registered Computers click

1. When you open up your computer, a preferred
networks window may pop up. You will need to select
AirVandalGold and then click the Join
button.
2. Enter the Network Name
and your University Username and Password.
Select
Automatic for the 802.1x setting and check
the box. If available WPA2 enterprise is selected.
Check the Remember this network check box,
click
the Join button to continue.

Before you start please make sure your computer's Mac
Address is registered to the Wireless network.
If you are not sure how to do this

1. To connect to AirVandalGold
you will need to select your Wireless icon
in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
From the
drop down menu, select AirVandalGold to continue.
2. Enter your
University Username
and
Password
credentials in the proper fields.
Select Automatic
for the 802.1x configuration.
Check Remember Password in my keychain if you want to
automatically connect to AirVandalGold when you are on campus.

3. The next window will ask you to Verify
Certificate 802.1x Authentication, click on the show
certificate button in the window.
4. The certificate information will be displayed, verify this
certificate is valid. At the top of the certificate
information make sure the always trust check box
is selected.
5. Enter your OS X username and password
for your computer into the correct fields and click OK.
6. Select your Wireless icon and verify you have successfully
connected to AirVandalGold.
