  Banner Printer Requests  

Banner print queues are created to be used within the Banner application on campus.  These queues are not available for use for any other system.  If you are a banner user and need to print reports or other items off banner, you will need a queue setup for you.

Requirement for banner printing!
The printer must be capable of printing postscript.  If it is not postscript capable we cannot setup a print queue in banner for the printer.  Contact the printer's vendor if you are unsure if it is postscript capable.

If you would like to request your printer to have a Banner printer queue please follow the directions listed on this page.

If your printer already has been registered with the ITS Help Desk you will need to send a request to the Help Desk by e-mail to have the printer set up for Banner printing. You will need to include the following information in the request.

  1. TCP/IP printer name or the MAC/Physical address of the printer.
  2. The make and model of the printer so ITS can check for post script capability for the printer.
  3. The Wall plate the printer is plugged into.

If this is a new printer and has not been registered through ITS Help Desk you will need to send a request to the Help Desk with the Printer name and MAC/Physical Address of the printer. Please take a look at naming guidelines for adding a printer at the Printer Setup Guidelines page.
