How do I setup Symantec AntiVirus autoupdate?

Symantec AntiVirus is setup by default to download updates everyday at 12pm. We suggest keeping this setting as is. These instructions will assist you in changing the updates if necessary.
  1. Open Symantec AntiVirus by double-clicking on the gold "Symantec AntiVirus" shield in the system tray (next to the time on the lower right) or by going to the Start menu, selecting "Programs" or "All Programs", then "Symantec Client Security" and "Symantec AntiVirus Client".

  2. Click on the File drop down menu and select "Schedule Updates".
Selecting 'Schedule Updates' from File menu

  3. Click on the "Schedule..." button to modify the updates schedule.
