Faculty and Staff are moving to Office 365

Beginning in mid-april, faculty and staff at the University of Idaho will be moved from the current Exchange 2003 system to the new Microsoft Office 365 architecture. The new Office 365 architecture will provide numerous enhancements and additional features in addition to a more robust, easier to use email experience.

Where can I learn more about the migration?

You can learn more about the migration, download and view support documentation and see a up-to-date timeline at http://www.uidaho.edu/its/office365migration.

We have something to share with you:

Students logging in to their Office365 VandalMail after spring break might notice a few more options on their account. Over Spring Break, ITS has upgraded all student Office 365 accounts to a new subscription tier that unlocks a fantastic collaboration and instant messaging tool – Microsoft Lync.

How do I learn more about installing and using Lync?

ITS has developed an in-depth tutorial showcasing how to install and use Lync, along with showcasing some of its features. Have a question not covered in the FAQ? Email us at helpdesk@uidaho.edu!
